Training & Development

Helping you be the best you can be

Join our Care team and you’ll make a real difference to the lives of people across your community. You’ll put smiles on faces and help people stay living in homes where they’ve enjoyed so many great memories. It’s why we’re so passionate about providing all of our Carers with the encouragement, training and development opportunities their dedication deserves.

If you’re new to caring, we’ll make sure you’re fully prepared to meet the many different physical, social and emotional needs of the people you’ll help to look after. We’ll invest in you and your future, providing you with expert training and a structured development plan.

Industry leading training

Your journey at Allied Healthcare will start with a 4-day training programme in the classroom. Here, you’ll learn more about how we work and how to provide a diverse range of people with the best care. You’ll also develop your skills with the support of our ‘Care Coaches’ and enjoy a comprehensive induction in your local branch. Thanks to our qualified Health and Social Care Trainers who deliver all of our training, your development will be in good hands.

Your training won’t stop there though. Our fully paid on-the-job training gives you the chance to put what you’ve learnt into action. With our support you’ll experience some of the real-life scenarios and challenges that you’ll face in your role.

Development

Not only will you receive industry leading training, we’ll provide you with your very own personal development plan. You’ll also be able to access ‘Discovery’, our fantastic new e-learning portal. Here, we have over 50 different courses, so you can keep on developing your personal and professional skills.

In addition to this we can also provide training in specialist areas like dementia and learning disabilities to give you relevant skills as you progress.
